U-Report is UNICEF’s digital community for young people where you can raise your voice and share opinions on topics that matter to you. U-Report is a free, confidential digital polling platform open to anyone aged 14-24. You can answer polls on issues that matter to you and have your voice heard in a safe digital space for young people. 

U-Report Australia polls will cover a variety of topics including digital wellbeing, climate change, education and current affairs. Polls will be super quick and easy to finish, with new polls available every fortnight.  

We’re looking for young people to join U-Report Australia and help shape UNICEF Australia’s decisions and policy recommendations. This is an opportunity to be part of the change you want to see in Australia.

U-Report is a digital platform for youth aged 14-24, that asks poll questions to get your perspectives on issues and decisions that affect young people. 

There are over 20 million U-Reporters in more than 90 countries. Now we’re bringing U-Report to Australia! 

When you join U-Report, we might collect some information about you (like your age or which state you live in) to better understand who’s using U-Report and to share content you’ll find helpful. 

We’ll use this information to: 

  • Chat with you and invite you to take part in polls, events, and other cool activities 
  • Send updates and connect you with chatbots 
  • Analyse your answers to help improve child rights 

If you register with Facebook Messenger, we might collect your account name. Anything you share, like poll answers or messages, helps us advocate for young people (don’t worry, it’s anonymous when we share poll results). 

Joining is totally your choice. If you decide not to, that’s cool—there are no consequences. 

We keep your information secure and only use it as explained in our Privacy Policy

Under the CRC, young people have the right to give their opinions freely on issues that affect them and adults are required to listen and take them seriously. U-Report helps ensure your right to be heard!
